i used to give blood 2-3 times a year, but that was back in England. Here I'm not allowed coz I might be a mad cow, which is lame as everyone knows I'm a sly dog.

I give blood every time the van comes around. My brother died of leukaemia and blood donations kept him going many times.

I HATE needles with a passion. I'm great at giving them, but don't put the suckers near me! Every time I go to give blood I think of all the good I'm doing and it is all worthwhile.

You'll survive, it isn't that bad! ;)

Love truely,
Laugh uncontrollably,
And NEVER regret anything that made you smile.'

Not that scary and you can only do it every 12 weeks unless you are giving plasma, then every 2 weeks.Just drink lots of water before you go and they will fill you up with milkshakes, cheese and bikkies while you are there, or maybe beer in SA!!

Take it easy afterwards the first time though.

Wont make a difference, considering they wont even use tatoos etc.... ppl fuck their blood type up quite regularly, so until they have done a type test you are getting O Neg.....

o+ thanks.

seriously tho, donating blood is one of those things more people should do more often, esp as this is the year of the blood donor.

If you donate in sydney's western suburbs, Parramatta has the party pies, but Penrith makes the best milkshakes 8)

iamwithstupid.gif in an emergency it's O neg until they know your blood type and antibody status, which they can check pretty quickly these days. That's why the blood bank love people who are O neg.
