What is this?

Well I went troweling around today underneath the petrol tank so I could install a speedohealer when I came across this



Does anybody know what it is?

I think it looks like the Kleen air system but it has a petrol hose running to it.
Is it the KIMS?

you beefhead. its the injectors.

the clean air is under all that shit on the rocker cover

not used to seeing them on top. didnt get the whole airbox off but if these are injectors then the are shooting the fuel from the Airbox cover down into the thoats which again are a different set up from previous models

Mine are in the top too.....Maybe it's a 6 motor Russ

looks different mate, like the intake is at the back of the airbox.

Yeah true his are a bit further up.....My bad

A 6r with 173hp

they are your secondary fuel injectors the primary ones are under the airbox.

again if that is the case previous models dont seem to have them and Iwasnt aware that this was a point of differnce on the 08-09 thus the question

My ZX is an 05 so before that not sure I think secondary injectors are for better throttle and power delivery.

If you take the tank of a motorcycle it looks the same
