I just got my wireless router and network set up at home....what a guru.

Took me 1 hour and 50 minutes in phone calls to the Cisco helpdesk in Manila but it's working....woohoo. I think I might just go and slip on a cardigan and do some maths next.....

And without reading the manual.... at least, until you couldn't work it out, then you ring the help desk,
They say: "Hello IT, have you tried switching it off and on again?"
You say: "Yes"
They say: "RTFM"

Easy as. You plug it all in, switch it all on, read the instructions that tell you not to plug it all in and switch it all on, do what the manual says, say f#@k 27 times when you realise that you need to get the 1800dial geek number off their website (very handy when you're trying to set up a router), have a long and meaningful conversation with the lass in Manila, and away you go.

Having said all that the Cisco helpdesk is really good

..and Hoff, whats this TV you speak of. We still have the transistor radio here

Hey Hoff, colour Tv is old news. My grandfather has a coloured Gas tv still.

coloured gas is hard to find these days but. and the foxtel salespeople get all confused...
