G'day all

How ya all doing im phill from adelaide and i just bought my first kawasaki, a 1981 gpz 1100 b1 which i bought of e-bay a few weeks ago for next to nothing and after getting her home i had a really good look at her and looks like shes going to need a total tear down(the starter clutch is rooted) i was looking for a everyday ride but after a week i decided to turn her into a drag bike,
Tho im not new to motorcycles ive been riding now for 15 years now and i currently own a 2004 hayabusa and restored many bikes like katana's there was something ive always liked bout the old oil cooled bikes so when this gpz came to my attention i pounced on it. well i hope to get lots of advice for my new bike and hope to make a few riding buddies from here. cheers

First of the fuel injected Kwakas, one thing to watch for is the electrics playing up but the motors are bullet proof

yeah im gonna bin the injection and throw in carbs off the 1000j model i think i was told for the drag strip
