Ladies gloves

I'll need to replace my gloves soon, as my fingernails are poking through the holes.

My last two sets of gloves have been the Spidi Carbosint ones, which I've loved, but it might be time for a change?

I have small hands and take an XS size and tend to prefer gloves that have a wrist strap and are lightweight, with knuckle protection.

Suggestions?

The only time i've looked into women's gloves was for my friends who'd just bought those scooters. We got them the shorter length SHIFT brand ones. They had all the knuckle and palm protection but it was hidden.

Mmmm well I wanted the chrome knuckle gloves but would you believe - wait for it . . . . . they only came in mens !

I too am XS and without going into the big dollar gloves (over $150) I ended up with Rjays (under $150) - and tbh, I can't complain they've done the job and have lasted well.

But yep, I sooo wanted the chrome knuckle ones - but that's probably a story for another thread?

I have these ones and I LOVE them. The leather is soft but they feel 'safe'. They come in ladies sizes S - XL from memory.

I've got those too

i've got alpinestars one's, don't know if they are men's or women's but they are comfy and fit well. they've got the carbon kevlar as knuckle protection aswell as double stitched and all the other fancy stuff. only downside is they were pretty expensive, about $160 or so. also i tried on a few other brands and different styles but the one's i got were by far the most comftable and they go way past my wrist too. i don't see the point in having men's and womens, i mean if they fit, are comftable and have the protection then who cares right, i wouldnt cancel out trying on men's, might get lucky.

so when can we see you on a ride shez??

i got a pair of these at the bike show, they had an assortment of sizes, however i dont know if they make a ladies version, or you'd have to find one that was shrunk in the wash .

Pretty comfortable so far, though ive only used them half a dozen times now. The first couple of long rides will leave black crap on your hands, but that seems to wash off quite easily. I just hope that it doesn't keep shedding material like that, which it seems to have stopped doing now. From the short time ive had them, would i recommend them? yes they are very comfortable and have armour that doesn't feel too uncomfortable. If i remember rightly there's also an armour plate on the base of the palm towards the base of the thumb, its not too intrusive though.

if that doesn't do it for you, perhaps the Shift Stealth Womens Glove?

I got these online after a recommendation from a friend who has been riding for years. I have been through LOTS of gloves and these were my favourites by far.

Knuckle armour, great fit, strap at the wrist, fit under all my jackets, are really well ventilated and soooo comfy! Great service too.

I got the model 'S2'- $90.

Shez, I think the need for mens' and womens' gloves all comes down to the fact that we have smaller hands and fingers and even a small size male glove would be too large for me.

I like the look of the Joe Rocket ones (would go with my jacket, too ) but need to try them on as I notice they only come in S, not XS.

so when can we see you on a ride shez??

My bad Colette, i compleatly missed the "XS" part. I'm usually a S/M so wouldnt get the same problem
