Yes I pick the times & Places & considering every time I am on the bike I am braking the law (speeding) I consider myself lucky not to have got caught many more times.... so yes it is not rocket science, & no this will not change the way I ride / drive at all now or ever.
I slow down in built up areas / crossings / places where there is a heap of traffic & ride to the conditions, I am not stupid about it & do not ride like a hell of allot of younger people with a hell of allot less experience (24 years) I do not stunt pull wheelies or do stoppies! seems its not as simple for these folks
I have no beef with the situation so your little cliché of doing the time.... nafff is all I will say

I agree with you Rob , I love revenue raising don't you  See the little dot in the distance (car) now look to the right thats where he was hiding. Mind you I took that pic after so I could appeal the loss ( I paid the fine no problem except the points also ) but was gonna appeal the suspension for a work permit but they are no longer available in NSW.
And here is the glitch.
If you appeal even though you pay the fine the Beak can do what he likes so instead of six months he could make it longer
so lets take the word appeal off the form shall we because unless your in the circle or a real criminal you may as well forget it about appealing, Just isn't worth it.

heaps of people are losing their licences in nsw..it's currently at the stage where 2 minor speeding offences and your licence is done and dusted..fuckin rta and police assholes..

easy to say neil if you live in QLD..for the same offences that got me to 12 points in NSW would render me no more than 4 points in QLD..

You should now understand why they are considering a change to the demerit points system in NSW..

If you get done for 20+ twice within a 12 month period the second offence attracts twice the fine and demerit points, so if the first offence is 4 points and the second 8 points, its bye bye licence!

I am NOT agreeing with what the system is or has become, but at the end of the day a small amount of common sense..........

Right , just a pity its not shown by both sides of the equation  I had a hat trick of camera fines that the greatest I got booked at was 5 k over , add to that the 2 or is it 3 k they brought it back by and geez wasn't I a criminal . The lowest was 62 in a 60 zone , wow I might have been doing 65 , 4 lane road at 7am on a Sunday morning . Bloody insane riding . FFS cant even see 5kph incriments on the 9s speedo let alone be so diligent about keeping to the speed limit as to keep my eyes on the bloody thing . The criminal in me is too busy keeping an eye on the road .
Ummmm let me see
