I did it, moved from Vic to QLD, left my job with nothing to go to, never had any trouble finding work, worked in 6 different jobs, just to try different things.

Decided after 12 months to move back to Vic, Started my own business, and ran it successfully for 2.5 years, sold it and now I work in a job that I am comfortable with and quite like.

Learned a s*%t load about life and myself, done things I thought I would never do, and I am a lot more content and settled now for doing it all, certainly a time in my life that I dont regret doing. :D

My Signature says it all about this time in my life, cause when we left Vic only God new where we would up.
A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing.

Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.

thanks a lot again everyone - you certainly make me feel better about it.
now the dust has settled on it i feel much more positive about it all.

at this stage i am seriously considering going back to university to do a dip ed next year.
ive often thought about it over the past 5 years but wasnt game enough to make the break from the old decent paying job.
now that ive quit a shit paying job the transition wont be so hard ;)
at least then i could work anywhere and not be at the mercy of small businesses.
until that starts i think i might just do casual work and chill out a bit.

Seriously, hope something comes along soon. And let me know when you're down here next, we still gotta have last year's Xmas beer FFS!

funny you say that...
number 1 on my list of things to do up here was to get an old school metal band going.
that didnt work out but ive actually started playing guitar in a local cover band.

its not quite my style of music but they are really fun people and its been a great laugh playing these tunes.
weve played about 4 gigs so far and have another tmw night.
im pretty sure we drink more beer than we play music :D

You just never know what will turn up .

Never listen to this man.
1. He has homosexual tendancies. Has he propositioned you yet? He is proud to display his arseless chaps!
2. He inspires others to follow him towards insipid 2 stroke small capacity motorcycles ( hence his masochistic ways )
3. He is a Kahrnt

As for you Tanya. there are 2 vehicles on the Tullamarine freeway I steer clear of and they are
1. Yellow Maggots. ( Hi Ronster its me again )
2. Startrack trucks. ( Simmo )
It seems they are both competing in their own grand prixs and woe betide any other road user that may obstruct them.

Which just reminded me of the Billy Connoly joke of the boy named " Wobiytide"
"Wobiytide the boy that doesn't do his homework!"
"Wobiytide the boy the doesn't turn up on time!"
"Wobiytide the boy that talks back to his teachers!"
"Wobiytide the boy that doesn't do as his told!"

"Who is this little fooker, and why cant I be his maate? "
I got a sweater for my birthday. I realy wanted a moaner or a screamer.
