coming soon green P's for riders

as some know i passed my M.O.S.T test the other day as i was about to get my slip the lady said the RTA will be bring in green P's for motorcycle riders she said it could be tomorrow or it could be in a years time but it will be coming in my question is do u think the RTA (NSW) will make me go onto green P's even tho im on my red P's now? i cant think back to when they brought in the green P's for car drivers i am ganna be pissed off if i have to pass another test and wait a few years before i can get a full licence has anyone else heard anything about this?

Nah. Now your on your red's it will stay that way. If they change the rules it will be from a certain date and all those on the old system with red P's like you and I will be that way for the 12 months... Just remember to upgrade before the expiry!!!

I think it's crap.

The reason bikes were never included in the graduated P's thing is that all bike riders actually go through training to get a license anyway. I was instructing when the green P's came in and we were told this by the RTA at the time. Not to say they won't change their mind but I'd be surprised.

You'll be right if it did anyway as it will be all license holders from the date of introduction I'd say, which is exactly what happened with the cars.

well hopefully they dont bring it in soon coz i have my most test november the 4th
