Riding gear and Clothing Discussion

Hi everyone,
Am I the only person around with this problem?? Pants size is 44" waist - problem is the inside leg size is only 27", not the 34" that size 44 comes in. This leaves me with CE rated knee protection doing a great job of protecting my shins / ankles. My leathers at the moment are about 8" too long.
Please tell me there is a brand of clothing out there for short arsed blokes built like a keg. The only other option I see is getting my pants custom made.
Cheers and have a great and safe weekend!

Mate you're screwed. I've got the same problem

.
Custom made is the way to go, assuming you can afford it (I can't so I wear Draggins).

I may be a shortarse, but a keg i am not!
I still have the same issue with short arse legs as well :-\, most of my pants have had to be taken up to some degree.

The problem with being short and 'altering' leather pants is they don't just need taking up at the bottom, the thigh length also needs shortening so the knee pads and associated crash protection don't end up as shin guards. Most pants are tapered down the leg so you can't just remove a section of thigh and move everything up. You can get creative with them but that's above and beyond 'altering' and you return them being to custom-made.

When I worked for MC dealerships and tall customers come in I got them into Ixon (brand) pants, men or ladies I have them myself! They have a snap button adjustable cuff and 2 position pockets for the knee armour I think they are around $150

I too had the "short-ass" problem.
Try a place called Storm Leathers (google for their website), store is in Qld.
Just got a pair of short (28" inside leg) pants in size 40, sliders, armour and lots of padding, good quality for $205 shipped. Serivice was excellent.
Thats cheaper than I can get the same quality at Staff prices at work

Thanks for all the responses - will give Storm a call and see what they can do. Also like the look of the Draggin's Cino's for work but will have to see what they'll charge for making them to my size.
Will let you know the results.
Cheers and have a great and safe weekend!
