hi woteva, thanks for the reviews page. I spose I cant be choosy if i dont want to fork out a wad of cash for a bike. I think it will make a good ride around bike. dont think i'll be hitting the track with it....

I had one on the road and the only problem I had was the fuel pump relay going bad. I replaced that and put another 20k km on it. The F series 6 is a very realiable bike and I g'tee you that you will love it. I really do regret selling mine
Then I took it off the road and went racing with it and ended up 2nd in the New Era championship in my 1st year. I was doing 1:20 lap times (QLD Raceway) on it which made me competitive with the newer 600cc racers (mid pack).
So the bike can still keep up with the new bikes with the right pilot at the controls.

Hi Mitch,
Glad to hear that th bike was good to you. I still have not decided yet and am keeping my eyes open. What do you think would be a good price for this age and model?
Opinions anyone?
Thanks

Mate,
I recently bought a 96 F2 as a trackbike and have to say it absolutely hammers along.
Just watch out for warped front discs, corroded/siezed caliper pistons and the usual stuff.

Dear All,
thank you for the opinions and thoughts. However due to my arse luck and procrastination, the bike was sold.
However I am still on the look out and now that I know a ZX6 is not too bad, I wont procrastinate on the next one I see.

I Bought at 96 F2 about a month ago with 21000km on the clock, it had been on its side lightly with a few minor cosmetic scratches, and after 2 new tyres and fork oil and seals and the usual oil change and so on, I think its a great bike, enough power to keep up with the mates on weekend rides and have a bit of fun on. First Kawa I have owned and I am very happy!!!
