I hope I don't sound like a soft-cock, let's-cuddle, tea-drinking type of person from this post but here goes nothin'...
give the kid a break, anyone else comes on here and proudly posts up their new ride, everyone is cheering and congratulating, not bagging the poor bastard to hell and back... Hell I didn't test ride or even SEE the particular 12 I bought before I paid for it in full, but I still love it to pieces though I'd be hard pressed to justify the purchase even now. I challenge anyone here to tell me they fully researched and justified every bike acquisition... half of the fun is the discovery, Brendan's new bike may not be perfect but it's probably going to put a great big smile on his face and THAT'S WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT. When all is said and done, his bike is his best friend and it sounds like he needs it... so can I suggest that y'all take your personal gripes as far as they are justified but please PLEASE don't make the poor lad feel that he's made a mistake purchasing his new bike or that he should feel ashamed of his choice, because that's below the belt.
Brendan, congratulations on your new ride. Have fun!

but i luv her, it's a pic of what she look's like, soon to take piccies of my own.

But iám planning to get another kwaka in the future.
Brendan, run your own race as they say. I like the pics of the CB400, it may not be the most sensible decision money wise especially when you may feel like trading her up for a 600 shortly, but you know we all started in this game going against the advice of other people who 'knew better'. If I had the money myself there would be the 2008 Fireblade in my garage truth be known. (alongside a few Kwakers of course). Enjoy it. We might see you down Nahso sometime.

brendanzxr wrote:yeh they don't let learners test ride , most places don't, don't worry it doesn't take much to impress me, especially choosing bikes, i'm happy with it. Yes i know this is inexperienced talking but i know i've made the right choice.
MMMMM I pretty sure I test rode on my L's and I would never buy a bike unless I rode it. Which brand of bike would say that their Bike is bad in the brochure! How do you know it suits you

To be honest I think your mad for buying a bike you haven't ridden

Won't be getting it anymore, can't afford it because i don't make enough to pay it off so they didn't approve it, oh well i'm still happy with my kwaka 250 , just need's a few thing's fixed on it, like my head light stupid thing turn's off sometimes then turn's on again now and again , must be a loose wire or something,

and probaly fix the shock's and also getting new tyres for it. So you'll see me on my 250 for quiet sometime to come. The reason i went ahead with trying to get a new bike was because my bikes old and i'm finding to many thing's starting to f...up on it, and getting sick and tired of fixing or replacing part's on it. Oh well it must be done it's all in the learning progress with owning a bike and being a nubie.

don't worry bout tyres i'm getting new gpr alfa 10's very soon, and shock's that will be great if you can help me out fixing them, and about the head light i''ve got it booked in for next wed so they can fix the problem.

cheers brendan
send us a pm so we can organise a day about the suspension treatment.
Wed Jun 25, 2008 10:24 pm
you have been "getting" new tyres for bout 1 months now
to get the forks off easier the front nose will have to come off (saves damaging it in any way) so it would be easier to look at the front light then if ya wanna save some more coin.
if we cant fix it then you can always take it to the shop
oh n do u think im doin this outa the goodness of my heart???????
