OK a quick quiz is a good quiz. Get your Google fingers ready

1.What famous guitarists real name is Saul Hudson
2. Who won the 1973 Castrol 6 hour and on what bike. What was exceptional about the win
3. From where did the term "Kishy strips" originate

Ok, here goes
1. Slash
2. Ken Blake on Z1B 900 and he rode the entire 6hrs SOLO
3. I'm assuming you mean in KSRC??.... In the ZRX impressions thread, referring to shock mounts - Strika asks Phil; 'As for the other guys with the shock mounts done.......Have you seen those Kishy Strips?????????????'
If not referring to KSRC.... the strip of unused rubber on the outer edge of a motorcycle tyre. Often also called chicken strips.

Ok, which one is wrong???
Do you think it's evident that I'm competing for the KSRC Quiz Master trophy?? LMAO.

Kishy strips comes from a few years back when Kishy (aka MG) was busy bragging about how he rode his ZX9R at the time then put a photo of it up with HUGE chicken strips. He copped heaps of shit about it and had a dummy spit and the name stuck from then on. From what I understand it's been adopted elsewhere too.

...well that's how I remember it anyway

Robyn gets 1 and 2. I think you've already got the quizmaster prize nailed

however on this occasion ......

Mick wraps up 3 so gets the prize this time. Over to you mate.

See how you go with these then Rob ;)

1) Name the section of road, month and year when the first Smooth Crim Dingo Ditch Digging incident happened.
2) What number was on the z650 in the Classic Races at this years Superbikes event? Bonus points if you can name the features that were giving Gos a woody.
3) What is Jim Goose's MFP badge number?

edit - added "badge" to question 3 for clarification

I don't think I've got much hope at this end Mick.... but hey here goes nothin ;)
1. Dunno - got nothin to lose so..... between Orbost and PI somewhere, Orbost/Buchan Rd? - Feb'08
2. Was it number 66 - and it was a mate of Gos's - somehow doubt that was the reason he was excited tho.
3. 12

2. Was it number 66 - and it was a mate of Gos's - somehow doubt that was the reason he was excited tho.Nah, Paddo was riding a bigger Zeddy

3. 12 Unfortunately that is Gosling1's MFP number, not Jim Goose's

I think number 2 is going to be the hardest one, but a bit of searching around should find the other two...
