zx7r bolt on or full system?

hi everyone, currently i have a bolt on, and am happy with the midrange, but am thinking about putting a full exhaust on to save some kgs an get some more peak hp,i used to have a full muzzy system on my first zx7r and it completely stuffed up my mid range! i am gonna do more engine mods in the future like big bore pistons etc, a full exhaust would work better wouldnt it? Just wondering what other peoples experiences are with both full system and bolt ons? The bike is for road use not track.......yet

Only ever had full systems on my 7's, both Hindle - don't have any real issues with midrange, at least for a 750, they still don't really get up and go until about 7k

If you are going to spring for a new can then throw a few extra $$$ at it and get a full system. I got a full Muzzy system for my ZX6R from the USA of eBay for around $700 delivered (in 4 days ). From here

I have a full Akra system on my current ZX7R and the WHOLE system weighs less than just the original headers. I can't compare the to back to back (yet) but on the ZX6R it made a lot of difference once jetted right.
