Female vs male thinking...how diff. are we?

Postby kaneg » Sun Feb 17, 2008 3:57 am

Today, I asked Joy if she has seen the rakes, the plastic leaf-collecting type ( as I knew she use them last)

She said, yes they're in the garden shed with the other gardening stuff, so I looked and looked.....about the eighs time, I walked in there I find that she had put them upside down, the rake part up with the handles,
That is why I just couldn't see them, all the tools lined up, spades, showels picks etc... all standing there with the tool section on the floor, where one would look to check........male logic,

Under normal circumstances you wouldn't think twice about it, just that we were in a hurry to get things done before our open-house, as we're selling the place

What's your "slightly" frustrating example, where your partners thinking is different ??

We take our shoes off at the door that goes from the garage to the house, and I put mine against the wall out of the way, but the missus will leave hers right in the middle of the doorway so that everyone else has to step over them. Everytime I am like..."why would you do that?"

Im sure she would have way more about me though

My flatmate got a job at the pub just around the corner from us and I told one of my girlfriends about it because they were pretty chummy. Conversation went thus:

Me: 'Cherie got a job at the pub down the road'
Nat:'Which one?'
Me: 'The one on the next corner after the convenience store'
Nat: 'The purple one?'

Now I know that pub as the one on the corner after the convenience store whereas she recalled the colour.
I couldn't tell you for sure what colour it is even now

Guys seem to remember landmarks and reference points whereas girls notice ornamental and decorative features.

Chicks are funny blokes I reckon...

Her and my flatmate should live together then you would also get lights left on ALL THE TIME, fridge door left open for days and rubbish bags put under the veranda because they won't fit in the wheelie bin and not being told about them and only finding out they were there when the back garden smells like an old running shoe stuffed with rotten cabbage and buried under a pig sty for three months...

My Missus has ragdoll cats and suffice to say they drop a LOT of fur and she lets them sleep on the bed so when I wake up in the morning there is cat fur in my eyes and mouth, they are also inside cats so they crap in litter trays in the laundry so I also wake up to the stench of cat crap and urine :vom: :vom: , her answer to my frustration is that she can't smell it  , I have been at the end of my wits about this and she won't vacuum the fur if I have left my cup on the kitchen bench instead of the sink cause I am making more work for her.
Can someone tell me if they are all like this? or is it just the freakin' idiot that I chose. protest.gif

No disrespect intended but I think it's 'the freakin' idiot that you chose' ;)

Cat fur would drive me crazy especially if you woke up with it all over your face !!

ps. I hope you don't let her read this forum

Sheesh..

A guy I dated recently thought I would be impressed by him talking about other girls (ex's) all the time so I *understood* him better

That so doesn't work

Maybe I need a cat and to stop doing the housework

Well I was naive enough to think along these lines:
Mick+Great Job+Great Salary+Two Cars+Three Kids+Big House+Five Chooks+Two Dogs+Fifteen Guinea Pigs & No Evil Habits (no gambling/smoking/drugs) + Ros = Normal 20-Year Marriage.

...but I was wrong, and it was actually a lot simpler:
Ros+Kylie-(Mick + The Rest)=Happiness.

Alas this leaves:
(Mick + The Rest)-Ros=A LOT of hard yakka. Good for Ros, not really for me .

On the flip-side I am getting a lot more....umm, action since she left

Mate, I think you have mistaken me for someone else .

No, it's normal healthy hetero stuff mate, not sure if you're interested in that sort of thing .

I am making up for lost...time. Being married to a person who bats for the other team and tells you repeatedly she "doesn't find you sexually attractive" narrows the opportunity for...umm, you know . Never mind, move along...

BTW, the kids are meant to clean up after themselves....as if .
