I have always wanted to ride but never pulled my finger out enough to do it. Well 15 months ago i finally did, I rode a VTR250 through my L's and P's then finally got the chance to grab a cheap 96 zx6r, it has a few k's on it (92,000) but for a first 600 it does the trick and i love it!

That he was. She was in for a full service but sadly i was told it has half the compression it should so i am trying to decide if i should pay the ball park figure of 2k to fix it, ride it until it stops or ditch it get what i can and get another bike.

Weclome to KSRC, before you do anything rash on the basis of RR's compression tests I suggest you PM Smek about some tests he had done on his 6 at RR, oh and get it tested elsewhere too.....
