In most of the suspension setup guides i have read they all mention certain things and i know these are all guides but when they mention front compression they mention x many turns for a 6r and x many clicks for a 6rr I have a 04 6r but i have clickers in my front compression is this what everybody else has?

Its still a newish bike at 1030kms i just like to try a few diffrent things as its the only way you find what you like.

I havent red one yet that didnt say drop forks through triple clamps 5 to 7 mm though.

i dont know how good that sounds cos on the p2 zx7r the fork only sits 2mm above the triple clamp.

I dont think it matters too much about how far the forks are sticking out of the top of the clamps but too much and it gets twitchy to the point of becomeing a real tank slapper the idea is just to get the front to turn in a little easier.

on mine I have no clicks in the rear compression or rebound adjusters, just turns. on the front I have definate clicks on the rebound adjusters, but on the compression adjusters, I can feel very subtle fine clicks that I can feel with the flat blade screwdriver but not hear (unless I hold my breath, stop the clock from ticking and seal the room with egg cartons!) I have not adjusted the fork height yet though because I have heard it is only for really serious expert racers rtying to shave their lap times, I only like feeling comfortable and trying to get my knee down around big roundabouts  *NOTE: I said TRYING!*
