lol we survey roads all over this great nation of ours and i come across some pretty mad sights, this was in a small town in the Atherton tablelands. Cant for the love of me remember what town though "shrug"

but it was their centre piece and they where quite proud of it when i asked at the shop about it

sorry little of topic there

btw how much trouble would it be to import a yank bike and get it adr approved you recon?

Yep, those exhausts (note, I didn't say mufflers 'cause there's fuck all muffling) are from Hotbodies racing. They look pretty bloody cool for bikes that came with underseat pipies, but the ones for bikes with side-slung exhausts look pretty ordinary. I wouldn't like to use those indicators on a road bike either
As for importing a bike from overseas - it can be done, and isn't too onerous, but it's also not terribly cheap (not cheap enough to warrant importing something you can buy here relatively easily such as a modern sportsbike). Have a look at
http://www.uniquecarsandparts.com.au/importing_a_car_to_australia.htm for some info. Why do you ask?

So in other words 11,399.00 US for a 2008 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R or $13,011.39 AU Not 20 grand
plus fright plus 10% GST as Vehicles over 30 years old, and Motorcycles 0% Duty & 10% GST
therefore 13 thou plus 1300 plus fright hey?
How about a group buy then???? lol im dam sure i can knock a bit more off too
considering the US is about to go into

recession

Those Hotbodies been around for a while...
I'm not a fan and agree with Dave#3 with regards to the indicators. Cool idea but not really road practical.
Two Brosthers or Laser are still what give me a chub...

I had a look into these a while ago for a project i thought about doing.
A lot of guys inthe states had dramas with heat related issues. Things like melting and deforming plastic and the like.
I think Hotbodies did address it buy supplying stick on heat shielding and some re-designing to get some airflow .
They look shit hot though

Yeah, haven't heard a good thing about the versions for the 636, as mentioned heat/melting issues, so maybe they've updated them if the business is still afloat.
