My re-introduction

Postby James » Sat Dec 29, 2007 3:37 pm

Well, its been a while, but here I am - back again! There's some magnetic attraction that keeps pulling me back to the Green side - as Im sure you're all familiar with!

But to update you all on the sitcho - The suzook has gone to a new home and I now have an 00 ZX12R taking up space in my garage! In green. Of course.

Who's a happy boy then eh?!

:D

Sorry, I just read the announcement asking intro's to include a bit about yourself, so for those who dont know me, here goes! My 1st kwaka was an ER5, which was then followed by a ZRX1200, a GPX600, a ZXR250, a 2003 ZX636, a 2004 Z750 and an '89 ZXR750 H1. I was a certified Kawasaki nutcase and did a stint down at Parra Kawa for a while back in '04 as well. Ive also owned a Suzuki Katana 7/11, a GSXR750 and my most recent bike for the best part of the last two years was an 06 GSX1400 in black! Ive quit the smokes and coffee since I was last active here and am at my heaviest weight ever as a result!!

So now I have another green bike, a ZX12R and let me tell you its good to be back at home amongst Kawasaki owners.

Welcome back mate. That last zuk lasted a while in comparison to most of your recent bikes. Are you glad to be back on a green one then? Hope to see you at the PiTS one Sunday soon.

Thanks everyone! Its great to see some familiar names are still here from a couple of years ago - I hope to catch up again soon with you all :D I feel like Im home again - not just online, but whenever im out riding on the new beastie.

Last year I did a measley 5000kms all year. Bloody pathetic! Partly because I moved house during the year and partly because I was in a lull about riding and disillusioned about bikes in general. But now its all coming back - I think ive done close to 1000ks since I bought the 12 on Saturday and have ordered some mods too!

I'll try to get out more this year and join you down there again Phil. Ive noticed a few posts from you about your ZRX and it sounds like youre loving it! You always said you wanted one so good onya! Do you still have the 9?

Welcome back James.
I'd like to say see you at the PITS - but that's unlikely now, me pottering around on a postie only once in a while.
Get out to the PITS and the nasho though and get back in the mix.

Congrats mate, there is something in all of us that draws us back to the green machines at some stage or other and how can you go wrong with a ZX12R, although its not a machine for the faint hearted. Maybe see u Nasho sometime..
