Removing zx7 engine

Hey, plan on removing the zx engine tomoz night. I've read through the manual on removing & installing the engine. It offers a little bit, but not a great deal.
Has anyone done this easily before? Anything I should be looking out for?
Anything relating to putting it back in, and keeping it central?
Ive had a look around the net for any hints and tips for this proceedure and have come up empty handed.
So any tips would be awesome.

its not as hard as u may think....

we had my cbr apart... most of the wiring loom has plugs that will only go to one plug..if u kno wot i mean... if in doubt label everything as u go... and take plenty of digital pics in case u forget sumthin!!

Yeah, im pretty big on putting the wiring loom in a place where it won't get touched. That way it retains it memory.
I take heaps of pics cause I never know how long the parts will be off.
And I keep all my nuts and bolts in seperate sandwich bags all labled. Makes life easier...and I'll kill anyone who messes with my sandwich bag lables!

I understand pulling apart a second hand bike and not having enough when it goes back together, but whats the deal with having them left over

The factory always over supply nuts and bolts, it's a known fact, worse on bikes built on monday when the drones are asleep still and cant remember or tell if they put a nut on that stud already.

My mate pulled the engine out of his K6 thou without the manual and got it back in and running no probs, he's far from a mechanic, had the cheap kmart toolbox and didnt even have a garage to do the job in. Sounds like you already have a good system of labelling and bagging so you shouldnt have any probs

From memory, the 2 upper engine mounts on the front of the cylinder head & the rearmost lower mount have threaded adjusters in them, your manual should have the distance they need to be spaced out in it but measure them before you pull the motor Justin Case.

Well, engines out now.
Lots of little things needed to be done before I could get it out. Didnt realise some of the stuff I had left on.
Turns out if you dont take the chain off before you remove the engine sprocket it will become a S.O.B to get off later (Or still have to stay on until I find another way...)
Heres some pics of how it looks now. Sorry to all you guys who dont have a stand...since I have 2. The grey one I made at work. Your not going to beleive me when I say this but...It cost a super cheap $100 odd bucks to make ($65 jack & 30 in steel). Ill upload the plans when I finish drawing them up from my napkin doodles.

Wow you have so much space, and it's clean. Our shed is filled with shit and isn't sealed well, so not only do I not have space for sensible arrangement of the TZRs bits, but everything gets covered in dust and small tree/bush bits.

I wish I could say the space was mine, but in actual fact its my boss'. We work on the bike together.

Does anyone have any suggestions on making the tool needed to undo the swingarm?
I plan on cutting apart a impact socket.

I know ppl do it, is there anyone who can suggest a size socket to cut up?
