not really designed as a grab rail. but glen20's 10 has the rack with the "grabrail" in place whent he bag isn't.

easy mate, you can buy the grabrail ventura accessory exactly for that reason..
It is strong as, you can lift the back of glens bike with it on....not that you would.

Just get a set of "pillion pal"
You wear it like a belt.....has two grab handles for her to hold on to AND you dont go destroying the looks of the back of the bike

i don't think this will help as my prob is getting pushed into the tank with the anchors on, she wants something to hold onto so she doesn't slide forward as much

Tribo seat cover or make your own from your own from non slip sheet
Get her to work on her thigh muscles
Seriously though, because they are holding the belt handles they work well - as they can push themselves back against them.........I've only had Linda drop into my seat with me a couple of times since we bought them.

get her to tuck in, and stick a hand on your tank. stick her hand right where your tank protector is.

The ventura rack is pretty handy. and you can slip the rack off and use the grab rail as others have said. They don't actually recommend that you use it as a back rest but it's pretty solid. The only person (I use that term loosely

) that I've doubled with it on was Ponti around Phillip Island at the supers this year and it seemed to work pretty good.
.....and it turns the 10 into an instant Hypertourer.

I get them to put both hands right there. That way on acceleration they can, if they feel the need, pull back on you then go back to the tank again
