ok.. if I just want a slip on to look the goods and to sounds absolutely mind blowingly awesome.. oh and be real loud.. what brand would I go for???

my 98 ZX9R had a R&D exhaust from Texas... that was awesome for sound and sexy... can't find them anymore...

The Texan brand was probably D&D, and there's shitloads of 'em on eBay - prices are pretty reasonable too. If you want loud think about either a Yoshi (every chant's got one, including me on my tracky), a Roo Racing (a bit ugly IMHO but farkin' loud) or maybe a Staintune (if polished alloy is your thang). I've got an Akra which looks hawt, fits the lines of the bike better than the original and sounds really nice, but it's not very loud (about 2db more than stock from memory).

Heres some light reading that may help..
Not specific to a zx9r but may help you make a decision and clear up what you may actually get from a slip on..

found this o ebay not to sure if it will fit E1
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Scorpion-Titaniu ... dZViewItem" target="_blank" target="_blank
( still waiting on reply from I K on that titium set he has got)

I have a full titanium race system for an E-onwards ZX9 that's only taking up room in the garage. It's made by a never-heard-of-them Japanese company called K-Factory (go to http://www.k-factory.com" target="_blank to practice your Japanese), but it's a work of art and it weighs about as much as the bolt that attaches the stock muffler to the pillion footpeg. It's got one tiny ding in the muffler sleeve near the back, otherwise it's perfect.

It's yours for the price of a stainless steel muffler from a bikeshop.I-K
