So i've been kinda thinking about another bike given that the current beast is 10year old and has 130000 k plus on the clock so I got to thinking about decent Kwaka dealers here in Vic. Race Replica... not real keen on getting my bike worked on there... Floyd parkes, after market service second to everyone... at least that's the FTG branch, not heard much about Ringwood yet... Cosway... lazst time the ZZR got a front tyre put on there I ended up with a major tank slapper if decelerating from 100-80 or so, makes me a tad hesitant to go back there again, which leaves me with...... Brighton Kwaka (or another species of beast) so does anyone have recent experience with B Kwaka since it was taken over a year or so ago????
Smitty, you practically live there, GIG you're just around the corner, Billy, Stace, same for you blokes, Andi, opinions needed/desired please.

he did....
my 12 came from BK..as did the GeePeeX before it as did the GeePeeZed7fiddy
have not been there much in the past year ..cept for a service and new tyres
all done well and at a right price..so no complaints from me
Mick
I suggest go in and talk to Brady or Andrew (I think his name is) or if you can collar him, Mick the owner
and do some serious chatting about a new ride
cheers

Went to Cosways had a look at new stuff, decided nothing there I really like, Blue 10 was damn sexy but didn't feel that comfortable on it so used 9 looks like the go. I tried contacting Race Rep on a Friday whilst at work, 3 phone calls not one answer, would have gone there Friday night if I culd get someone to answer the phone to tell me if they were open...
And these guys are evidently Vic's largest Kwaka dealer... fugged if I know honestly..

And Floyd Parkes won't answer my email enquiry so that slots them in that category too I guess.. leaves Brighton Kwaka or I go bush somewhere, Perhaps Pratt & Osborne in Geelong, they always provided good service in ym dealings with them...

Elliot Bros. in Bendigo seem ok, they're also the Honda dealer.

Umm, one of the main reasons, yes.
Every single Kwakka dealer I rang were either out of stock, too busy to assist, never returned my calls or blatantly tried ripping me off. Pack of cahns

Elliots seem OK for some spares that I have got through them , but they have 12 grand on a brand new 02 ZX6

No wonder its still there . Not a lot of stock either . More sales in off road stuff .
Bri Kaw are good for me as I am known by staff and they will always try to help . Frank is very good with service .
Wouldn't waste my time in Cosways again for anything .
A new bike just comes down to the best price and deal . What freebies etc . Then get it looked after by someone you trust . In my case Frank at Bri Kaw .
