gear review: Super-Visor sun blocker

Postby javaman » Sat Sep 29, 2007 6:45 pm

If you frequently travel with the sun ahead of you this product is the shit. It blocks the sun ahead and makes a big difference in riding comfort. As supposed to using sunnies, the glare of sunlight does not reach your eyes at all !

I was planning to just put it on long journey but ended up having it permanently. Can't live without one now and it doesn't look too bad. It's good at high speed but I won't flip my visor open unless stopping

It's about $38 delivered from safetysolutions.com.au and the owner (Peter) is very helpful. Comes with monting and sticky tapes and permanent glue which is of course your choice. I found the sticky tapes only lasted about 3 months after the kids played with my helmet . Ended up using silicon glue and all is good now. It can be detached fairly easily.

Not bad I suppose, but I reckon you can do the same thing for about 6 cents with a piece of electrical tape across the top of your visor.

Yep... personally, I prefer the Nito black-out tape. Makes for a much nicer end result.
