It sadly looks like my favourite rally driver of all time, Colin McRae, has been killed. However, it wasn't a rally car crash that got him but a helicopter crash of which he was pilot.
http://news.scotsman.com/entertainment. ... 1483222007R.I.P. Colin. My condolences to his family and friends.

not good.. big loss to rally, to motorsport, to the world, the fans and most importantly his remaining family.
on a lighter note, hopefully god (or insert your own imaginary religious icon here) was impressed as he drifted in sideways over the clouds.

I spent four years in the rally scene before I came back to bikes, and although I never met him it's a big loss, personalities like his are what I loved about rallying, and his driving style and talent was something I wish I had 1/10 of.
Damn.

Helicopters taken both Colin McRae and Steve Hislop, perhaps they should be banned as being too dangerous as seems to be the knee jerk reaction to motorcycle crashes...
