On an aside - don't they recomend waiting until 8000k before running fully synth? Something about inhibiting the full bedding in process. Some fully synths don't play nice with a wet clutch either. Semi synth can be a better option.

i heard the rule was

upto1000km- mineral only
1-6000km - mineral
6-12000km -semi synth
after 12000km - full synth..

my kwaka dealer told me "its all bullshit, put in the fully synth after 1000km is fine"

his theory is that at 5000rpm... for 1000km..that an engine should be bedded in...
