I was under the impression thats what was offered
hes had what 3 races?? and he is in the top couple..guess he doesnt want to be a world champion..??
I don't think there is enough points left for him to catch the Ten Kate.

They are a team that knows how to prepare a winning bike and West could have learned a lot from them in the professionalism stakes before entering the motogp ranks.
Yamaha are also running competitive machines in all of the major 4 stroke catagories and surely Edwards' time as Rossi's team mate is limited?
Anyway, Go Westy!
Cheers,
Pete
The Motogp on a factory ride even a Kawasaki is better than a Supersport ride on the best team. To go from WSS to GP's would involve jumping a lot of catagories. You would have to come from 250's or superbikes,(unless you are a yank and you then somehow come straight from the AMA).

Welcome back to the Big Time Westy. Even better platform then the Honda twin you road last time in the "Big show".
Not only that I think the Kwaka is the BEST bike this year. Its top the high speed times 2 out of the last three races & holds a line better then a Fukate & is much easier to ride then the Yameehaa (wet race for example) It's certainly Heaps better then its been shown by the "Frog Squad".
Dave 3 is bang on he needs to "Smile & Wave"
just "smile & wave" Ant.
the results will come.
As for the SBK Supersport Yamee ride, he's the only bloke to beat "Camel Toe" Sophoggoooo (Sp) twice in the same race in the dry. One opps an injury & Westy would be World champ. The Kwak GP ride is a better Bet then CV took when he went to Suzi GP & he's doing Ok.

Well I had better have my 2c worth, how does that story go "if your warm and happy in a pile of shit" anyways hope he does well on the kwacka but if it was me i woulda stayed on the 600s and won a few more races before moving on.
It should make for more interesting racing because theres no reason why he cant finish in the top five before the end of the season and i will go with ponti.....just smile and wave.

I wonder if anyone has told Loris?
Italian MotoGP veteran Loris Capirossi wants to know whether or not Ducati still love him before deciding his future.
The 34-year-old former 125cc and 250cc champion has ridden for the Italian team since 2003 but has been eclipsed by Stoner this season. Capirossi wants to know Ducati's position, with his management claiming there is otherwise interest from Kawasaki and Suzuki.
"For me, it is most important to know that the team or the factory really want me," the Italian told reporters on Saturday after qualifying 13th at the British Grand Prix.
"I know Kawasaki really want me. I don't want to stay in one team just because I have been there five years. I want the team to love me.
"I think that after five years, after 18 years [in GP racing], I don't have to demonstrate anything to anybody."
The Italian said he felt good at Ducati but recognised the situation had been complicated by Stoner's success. "For him everything is easy, for me not so really easy. But anyway, I don't care. I just need somebody to want me," he said.

If West hadn't have fallen, he would have been on the podium for sure...
An aussie 1,2,3...
He'll go great on the Kawasaki and will make Randy look a tad amatuer in the process...

he so very nearly saved that fall too.
its a shame cause i agree with dave - he would of been on the podium for sure.
BTW dave - love your new avatar
so this would be the first time both kawasakis made it back to the pits under their own steam wouldnt it?
the mechanics are probably bored today with no bikes to rebuild.

only one week to go till westy starts winning again

Go Westy!!!

Top ride by Ant, I reckon the only reason he ran off was the extra "Brown ballast" in his leather bottoms after "scoop me one up Nicky" low sided in front of him & Rossi the lap before.
Barnstorming ride both before & after the gravel nap. How nice it ease to see the Kwak over taking stuff for a change.
Not a bad ride by "Horny de Peenie" either considering his 250cc win on trhe same track 3 years ago in similar conditions.
Fox cant away to an add before Bracksie could talk to Ant ..... Did he "smile & wave" or what ?.

didnt hear Ant's discussion... but boy was it a good ride really...

Don't think the grid camera and Bracksy are together for interviews, Westy did sound happy/enthusiastic though.

How could it have been an Aussie 1,2&3 if Colin Edwards finished second??
At least Edwards has an Aussie mother or something like that.

Mate - you missed the 'if West hadn't fallen' bit.
red_dave was referring to Stoner, Vermeullen and West being on the podium.
Another couple of laps and I reckon Chris would've pipped Edwards - he was catching up.
