'06 ZX6R Improved Suspension settings

Postby zxsixr03 » Sun May 13, 2007 4:02 pm

This is a must for a basic set up and a starting point, i rode on stock settings for a while as i weigh the same as set up from factory, but today i changed to the sportsrider recomended setting for a starting point, and wow the front is night and day difference alot more feel and a smoother ride, the rear is more of a race set up but just dial in the compresion and dampining accordingly afterward if u want a softer ride, but a definate must for a improved set up from stock and an excellent starting point for custom improvements from there.

Suspension is a very individual thing, some guys like a lot of feedback others don't.

Best to make sure springs are rated for your weight, set sag, then adjust rebound and compression 2 clicks at a time till you feel happy.
