valve clearences on ZZR250

Hi all,

My ZZR 250 was donw to 80 psi in the left cylinder. Turns out there is no clearnce between the rocker and trhe valve

Time to reset the clearences,

Its a 2001 ZZR 250. does anyone know what the correct valve clearences are ?

sorry if this has been asked before but nothing came up in seach.

from memory the intake should be 0.08mm (0.06-0.1 being the acceptable range) and exhaust 0.12mm (0.10 to 0.15mm)

Inlet 0.08~0.13mm
Exhaust 0.11~0.16mm

You were that close from memory.

I wish my memory was that good, both of your solid stats were inside tolerence

. I'm a ZZR250 nut and I had to look it up. :oops:

helps to have done clearances more than a handfull of times
