OK the son's car is giving me the shits AGAIN
Water pump pissing out & seeing as we're on level 3 restrictions I thought I'd change it................
3 hours later and 3 split sockets.....yep 3, either my sockets have gone brittle with age or I'm getting stronger
The more I looked the more it looks like the engine has to come out to do it ?? FFS it's a poxy Holden Nova 1600
so in true motorbkers mardy......I put it back together and thought where's me stubby holder

The car is a re-badged toyota corolla... same engine I believe.. prob a 4AG or similar. (12valve not 16 i think)

I think you have to take the engine apart to fix the water pump coz it sits behind the engine.

I fix my water pump and it costs $1000 coz of the engine.

BTW my car is 91 corolla
