Note to self: You have to be quick for the GP

crikey!!

Plan A: its january and i thought i would contact cowes van park about booking a cabin or onsite caravan as it looks like i will be going with the wife n kids.

ALL ACCOMODATION BOOKED OUT!!!
its january for farks sake!! 10 months till GP and they're all gone.....oh well, looks like its time to bring in plan B

Plan B:

Beg, borrow, steal or (worst case) hire a caravan to sleep 5 people (including 2 toddlers) and it would appear this is the plan which will go into action.

so, on that note: anyone got any helpful advice for me? maybe someone knows a hire joint which will do a good deal? KSRC discount come into effect maybe? or does someone trust me enough to lease their van off them?

otherwise i think i may head to kookaburra caravans @ windsor, coz their website shows a few things which may work out nicely.

i'm open to suggestions

staying in town might be nicer especially if bringing kids or non motorcyclying partners but cut em loose and stay at the track - its awesome.

one of the best weekends of my life.

Nope. If I can't get a cabin or van then I wont be going. Tenting with a baby probably wouldn't be much fun.

Well, I managed to find a cabin. It's at Newhaven... a short drive into Cowes and the track, but closer than staying at Inverloch or Melbourne.

At $210 a night it's also an absolute bargain. Well, it'd be a bargain if it was for the Bridge Suite at the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas.

Anyway, I'm off to the GP. YAY!!
