I did listen to you.
And that was my first mistake!!!!!!!!!!!!
And what the fuck do you need an angle grinder for?
Im guessing to cut the chain. but being a 250 it should be running a split link
You might know chains but i am sure the guy is not into bondage like you are.

the grinder is for grinding off the lugs of the chain...
yea i mentioned it should have a joining "clip" style link...but u need to often shorten the original chain- but make sure u cut the right bit off or u end up with 2 joining links

just wanted to update this thread.
i purchased at 14/48 instead of 13/41 because richard from G&C said that it is what my stock bike gear is and that is what i should get. i have a 14/40 right now.i trust that man for many reasons.
Neka is helping me change the sprocket and chain. i will let you all know how it goes after.

hahahahahah nice call...
i met GForce on Friday, we were gunna do the chain on sat nite, but as it was
1.42deg
2.not rooted (current chain etc-not his mum)
we decided to leave it a bit...this is a zx2r with only 14000km on it..and a 525pitch chain...my 929 blade got abt 20-30000km with a 520 pitch chain with alloy sprockets!!

ok i had my sprockets and chain done today. before it had the 40teeth rear but now it has a 48.
the difference:
1. looks alot bigger than the 40t
2. acceleration is better off the line. i can go faster without riding the clutch
3. gearing alot closer. i have to change gears all the time (annoying)
overall, its sure loves to rev and every gear accelerate alot better. good for city riding but would be crap for highway as it sits on 8000rpm on 100km/h.
click to see the bling bling chain. haha
