just wondering what everyone else gets from their bikes as far as range. I am getting pretty much spot on 200Km, until I have to switch to reserve (which i don't like doing, getting all the muck sucked up?!)
anyway, does this sound normal... it better be! mines a 2000 model, uh, as my little signature says.. DOH!

Am getting between 230-240 on my 04 ZX6 before the fuel warning light comes on. Running it on BP Ultimate or Mobil Premium.

I hit reserve anywhere from 185- 270 i guess.. fill up at 300-320 dry...
That was prior to the gearing change.

Mate doesnt happen. Reserve switches 2 different length pipes. Using reserve wont let any more crap into the carbies unless you run it to empty, same as a car. Most of the New bikes just have a beeper now for reserve with a single pick up which would let more crap in then the old reserve switch method. Also if your using high octane Unleaded most of it has cleaners n good bits to help maintain your fuel system efficiency.

Used to get about 260km out of the old ZZR250. The 2004 ZX6R I get 200-210 then my fuel light blinds me. Its fuel economy is getting better though because I only used to get about 180. I do thrash it though.

I'm the opposite on my 9 Kylie, I started off getting around 260km before hitting reserve, now I'm lucky to reach 240km cause I'm not so scared of cracking it open anymore

My 10`s doing well. Im gettin about 200k out of 12 ltres, when the fuel light comes on. And i have another 5 litres in reserve when the light comes on. And its only getting better the more im running in.

I get anywhere from 200 to 230 kays out of a tank before changing to reserve.
I have no idea what I get out of reserve.

I fill up at approx 320 K's (every 2nd day on the way home) and use 12-15 L of premium. I have had up to 380 K's before reserve.

You must ride soft dave

Soft, soft, I ride a fuggin 250 ... it's not like I've got any option but soft
It's actually got a lot to do with the bike ... my old 250 used to get less that 220 k's before reserve, and I rode it much softer than this one ... but this one is about 10 years younger and has been well looked after !
