Hoff, I voted the 12... though it'd have to come with the milk crate, color coded of course.

cheers mate

Of Course, I have written to Kawasaki HQ trying to make the "Hoffluggage 3000" (milk crate) standard OE equipment on all new Kwacka sportsbikes, I'll let you know how I go :?

there is ONLY black (but I have seen a pic of a white and gold one, wicked)

Heads up from the latest edition of performance bikes (UK)
In a story on a Cannonball race (oops rally) across Europe the writere is on a ZZR14 (our ZX). Apparently by removing the secondary buttery they released an extra 30bhp below 4000rpm.
Gets rid of that annoying pre 5k restrictor we all bitched about.
I have heard the same sort of thing about 12's on the Canadian site but as per usual what you give with one hand you take with the other.

Or the other titbit picked up in AMCN, our old mate Alex Miller from LAE on a turboed ZX12R at Willowbank, having problems making good times (I forgot what he did sorry) because it was spinnning in 4th and 5th  His quote siad it was a little hard to lay down 350HP....
12s are THE shit
Having said that I was VERY happy after getting mine done with Alex at LAE, PURELY out of interest did anyone post a 2000 type ZX12R modded figures?? It would be interesting to see what diff the second butterfly made in my and Blue12s compared to them. Like I say opinion at zx12r.org was divided (IMO) and dragracers dont care about 5k restrictors
hmmm I'm off to the thread.
*edit* OK not going to matter as the dynos are all top gear (??) so they arent really showing the lower down, in hindsight when you have as much as we have who cares anyway eh BUWAHAHAHAHAHA
I told someone on a twin once (and I LOVE Twins dont get me wrong it was to prove a point) that I had more HP and torque at 6 grand then he did flat, so dont talk to me about torquey twins, and he just spat at me

  funny shit ! I *love* riding on the torque curve of my 12, even though its only running a Yoshi can and no other mods.......running into a big sweeper at  fast, you can just roll on the throttle and goodness me is it 2.00 o'clock already ?? Its *effortless*.......

Of course the 14 is all this and more as far as engine responsiveness is concerned, but thats it - get into some tight sweepers, and it would be toast.

1/8th mile it's all rider i love 14's it's more competion.

It's big, It's got the most ugly exhausts that give you 3rd deg burns by just brushing on them BUT

I've had both - a 12 and now the 14

14 is light years ahead, more comfort, handles better, gearbox/clutch all improvements - and then you get that engine

If you need more - remove the sec set of butterflies and fit a PC.
