Tanyas place of employ doesnt seem to stock a lot of helmets and i have seen some really great suomy paterns out there...just not into the ususal dragons and skulls themes myself.

Anyone from brisbane know where there are good stocks of decent brands out there, i supose its all the same from all the team moto stores.

I don't know what you've been smoking bob, I'd say we have close to 200 road helmets and about 100 (probably more) dirt bike helmets. We get people everyday telling me that we have the best range, and from what I saw in Sydney and Melbourne we have a better selection than them too.

There is a reason ppl don't stock suomy anymore, but if you spend your money on one that aint my problem.

You've blown your discount Bob(j/k)lol  . Plenty of helmets @ Pro Kwaka.

I have a Suomy Pitt Rep and it the best helmet I have had to date.
Its a couple of years old now but never had any thing go wrong with it at all and am quite surprised that the new models have problems.

1. Why would you ever have a helmet for more than 5 years unless you never wear it.... I am a commutor, I use my helmet every day.... 2 years is an acceptable lifespan for me.... The KBC has lasted very well, and doesnt really need replacing except I have heard that the interiors compress over use and it is recommeded that you dont keep them just because there is nothing apparent wrong with them...

2. IF I COULD afford an Arai, I wouldnt buy it because I would have to afford one again in 2 years time.

That said, if I had the money, and I didnt commute, i would buy an Arai....

mate thats why i (and i suggest u look at this option??) buy a new lid every 2 yrs or so, but use the Old lid for things like commuting, stunting (if u do?) and other slow speed stuff...i mean its only reccommended u change it cos it *might* be buggered...

i go buy a new lid every 2nd or 3rd year (depending on use- havent had to lately) and it becomes my new "track/hills/touring" lid, and my old one is used for commuting where i rarely break 60-80kph neway....

just a thought

Yes I am being pedantic but I counted helmets yesterday afternoon

287 road full face
22 flip face
37 open face
6 pudding style
156 motorcross and I ordered another 25 yesterday of a new model

and that amount covers over 40 different models
