Paint Chip in Tank

Tue Oct 24, 2006 12:51 pm

Hey Guys and Girls

I have recently aquired a nice 2-3mm wide chip in my tank on the right hand side. Its just far enough around the tank to not get covered by a GCC tank protector.

My problem is its down to the metal, so I should fix it asap.

Can anyone recommend anyone or is there someone I could obtain a paint code/touch up off as I know Kawasaki don't give out either...

or

Is someone willing to paint the tank for me for cash?

P.s Its only the metal half, the plastic half is fine.

Cheers.

Edit: Bike is a 05 ZX636 in Kwak Green

But there is metal showing so i'd like to get a little green paint to touch up before the nail polish....

my GeePeeX got a fantastic fixup from the guys at
Bike Magic...after it went bitumen surfing on the Westgate

highly recommended

and yep..they fixed Rob's black 7
after someone else (who shall remain nameless)
pharked the paint..good and proper

and if you want someone else...I can recommend
'Original Finish' at Kilsyth who provided me with touch up
paint for the Geepeex ...when I first bought it.
(as well as my previous GeePeeZs)

The guy there simply colour matched the two tone
(red and white pearl) paint..no codes or anything
in the way of help from Kawasaki
