My theory is "I will buy a 10, when I can pass all the guys on the 10's through the spur... Until then I am not a good enough rider to use a 10 properly"
The world is round. It has no point.

Just for the record.....ZX10's (05) are mental fast. At the creek the other week, my mates ten would pull away like i was standing still down the chute. Even if I had a better line and drive out of 12. A few times I actually pulled alongside his ten coming off 12. Then it would just start pulling away....rapidly......not slowly........much quicker.......a gobsmacking difference!

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?

they had a review on them in the paper down here over the weekend, basically stating the fact they are just bloody crazy amount of power, go like a shower of shit and handle like its on rails! The paper review said out of all the 1000's its the leader in its class! which is good to know!

WOW!!! Bikes in Australia sure are expensive!! 17,000 AU is like $13,060 US...They were blowing out 05's here (San Diego) last year for $8500 + Tax, or 11,000AUD!! I picked up my '05 ZX10r for $8700 and was pretty happy about that.
BTW: I like your football better than ours///

If the 05 is mental fast hate to know about the 04 & 06 then seems they have more HP than the 05 :o http://www.sportrider.com/tech/146_weig ... ndex5.html

I'm guessing the disparity between the 04/05 figures there are due to dyno difference more than anything else.

06 has more oomph, thats for certain, but I think power/weight is pretty much lineball between 04-06.

Check out the Dyno Chart thread for 3 of the 4 10's dynoed at the same time...all 3 04/05 models were within 1 hp of each other, but the 06 had heaps more
