Because I live down near PI, have a pub & get lots of free feedback the main thing to watch down here is San Remo fuel outlets, heck even the locals complain about a tank full of crap fuel outta there, main prob is water in it.
I don't want a pickle, I just wanna ride my motorcycle.Image

I drained all the fuel out of the tank.
when i looked at the fuel i could see heaps of dark coloured crap in it.
so there was something definately in the fuel as this was a brand new fuel drum i was using.

i went up the road to where i normally buy fuel (and have had no problems with before) got some fuel from there.
looking at that fuel i could see no sediment at all so it was definately something in that last lot of fuel.

i put the bike all back together stuck the fuel in and took it for a ride.
it seemed fine but i want to take it on a longer ride and burn through a tank or two before i declare it problem solved.

i put a tin of that motul fuel cleaner in it after the test ride as well - figure it cant hurt.

yeah ive thought of that.
thanks for confirming the doubts in my mind :D

nah i reckon its ok now.
when the problems were happening it was pretty much unrideable whereas on my little test ride it seemed normal.
Im just gonna put more k's into it this weekend to confirm its fixed.
