A differnt kind of smoke at the drift racing

I went to watch a friend race motards at Oran Park today, battling massive winds and dust storms and managed to get some pics of the CAPA drift racing Commodore ute getting a bit too hot.

Yeah he did make a really quick exit, the ute was still rolling after he got out, the thing did burn for a while before the fire crew finally arrived.

IMHO drifting is a fugin waste of time & I would never support or watch the crap...... reason being they were let loose at oran park on a Sat arvo / night & managed to leave rubber all over the track on the race line.
Did they clean up their shit NO WAY! we had a PCRA championship race the next day & wasted 2 hours waiting for the track to be cleaned by hand before our day could start & even then all the rubber could not be removed & therfore we had to ride over it.... stuffed our day so Fug em hard!....

Damn...I missed that one. Would have been better if it was a Ford. You were either somewhere out on the motard circuit when you took those or you have a good lense on your camera. What classes were your mates in? Did you get any good shots of the quads?
