Moto GP Telecast (WTF are you thinking Channel 10)?

So i'm watcching the 250cc class, great race, 1.5 secs max between 1st and 2nd, 4 laps to go or something around there and channel 10 crosses to a battle for 9th position, I mean like wtf??? Who seriously cares, not only are they also rans but they're so friggin far from the leaders they may as well be starting tomorrow FFS!

I can only hope this isn't a preview for the telecast of the main race!!!!!!!

I was dissapointed with the MotoGP finish. The 125`s and 250`s they replayed the finish a zillion times,but when I yelled to my dad to come watch the replay of Melrandi`s 1 handed,tyre smoking drift,they never replayed it .

Im glad to see Rossi get past Gibbers for 3rd. I thought it was a good tactical race wit hthe pit stops etc

Yes i have to agree, channel 10 did a shit job of showing the GP, every 5 mins they put 3mins of adverts, it came back on and half the riders had changed bikes to the wet set up, wish i'd kept the full optus package now.

The non-live coverage ot MotoGP is fine on Ten, no complaints.

So instead of subscribing foxtel, use the money to get down to PI, still have spare change for ride days too

From my understanding, channel 7 have bought the V8 Supercar rights nothing else. I'm waiting to see just what happens with the motor sport package such as F1, MotoGP, WRC, ARC, support categories etc that currently appear on channel 10. Channel 7 has the footy rights back as well so it's gunna be interesting/depressing/disappointing to see what happens. I know that V8 supercars sold out for the money and they would have guaranteed excellent coverage for themselves but I dunno about any other area. Channel 10 made themselves the home of motor sport and they were really happy with that.

Personally I hate channel 7 with a passion. They had the rights to V8/touring cars for years before 10 took over and motor sport lost out to AFL big time, delayed broadcasts, no broadcasts, no sub categories, no other areas of motor sport. The only race we got good coverage of was Bathurst. And they had some real wankers of commentators as well. Channel 10 came along and really did something with motor sport. I believe they made the V8 category what it is today in the same way that channel 9 did with World Series Cricket.

They actually played it a couple of times - just not immediately.

from the guys not happy with coverage but to tight to pay 4 fox, if you have a good internet connection you can register to motogp.com and watch everything live and beats staying up until early hours to get the coverage. its wat i may do next year and just a/v send it to me tv.

I just go to other places that have Fox...


Well here's hoping that with the bloody SuperCabs out the road Ch10's coverage of other motorsport will be more in focus.

I ended up at the Intersection Hotel watching the race and yes the coverage was not the greatest but at least you could order drinks in the add breaks, I just couldn't drink that bloody fast

Honda appealed against that as Rossi overtook Hayden under yellow flags but the appeal was dismissed.
