Pretty Good race to end the year on, Rossi again putting the Yamaha in front where it didnt deserve to be. The Honda boys fighting with each other over whos got the Best "hot" bits & our own Troy Riding the Ring off that second hand bits big Fat Ducati to equal their best finish all year in third place. If Kwika dont pick him up for next year they need shootin'. Nakkers as per rode a solid race to clinch a top 10 fnish on points for the year. Edwards again did Bugger all to finish 1 slot behind Nakkers, He is so gonna feel like all of M Schumacher's F1 team mates next year. "Young" McCoy did well to finish 16th on the Daygo "Briggs n Stratton".
Go Nakkers & Bayliss on the Bridgie shod Kwikas in '05.
Cheers Brett

Congrats to Rossi.
Congrats to Bayliss.
However, the question is likely being asked in the Ducati team - where'd he pull that from?
Anything different about the bike this time? no - same bike.
Anything different about Bayliss this time? yep - he's got something to prove.
Don't mean to take anything away from his achievement but I'm sure they're wondering if he may not have been entirely focussed or well motivated the rest of the season. He was very impressive this time with his future prospects largely depending on the outcome.

Gas tap turned on at the wall .....check.
Pilot light lit ...... check.
Gas knob Full tilt ...... check.
ENGAGE FLAME ......
Tony the only difference last night was that he managed to stay on the pig, despite its best efforts to toss him in the Kitty litter. The reason they dropped him was cause he was out riding its potential & Crashing.
So who you gonna call ....... Charlie Chucka (sung to ghostbusters theme) RoflmBUMoff.
Ive said it before Edwards pokes around n finishes 10th, 8th, (beat his teammate once when they both finished) 12th or whatever on the BEST bike & he gets Acclaim. Bayliss crashes out from 4th position & he gets the boot ... oh please.
GAS off ... Brett

yes the bike was different, he was running new chassis and swing arm parts that they tested after the race at PI. Don't ever think that there was any question of Troy's motivation this season (save for the race after Sachenring when his mechanics found 2nd hand parts from the 03 test bike when they were fixing it after he stacked there) just his application was a bit crazy at times. He has had a pretty good run of podiums at Valencia. What happened to Caporossi, particularly after a cracker at PI?
On a greener note Kawasaki's did well but they need to pull they're finger out for next year in terms of development (maybe move to big bang firing order like Yamaha?). Nakkers and Hoffman both rode well in the latter half of the season especially after Alex was given a warning from Eckl.

Rossi is not god, but they are on first name terms. The guy is a freak.

Ducati are really starting to give me the shits. Both in WSB and MotoGP. Bunch of f#@king bastards. I'll tell you why.
WSB - complaining about Vermeulen getting a lift back to the pits after his 'off' on the warm up lap at the 2nd last round. Complaining about Dr Costa letting Vermeulen ride in the race once he got back to the pits. They tried anything to stop him racing as a means to beat him. Right up there with the infamous 'underarm bowl' in the cricket years ago. Its just not right. Bastards.
MotoGP - letting Bayliss go. He obviously still bleeds Ducati blood - you could tell from his after race press conference comments. The smug bloody looks & wry smiles on the teams faces when Troy was challengin Biaggi for 2nd, and eventually finishing 3rd. They shouldve been hanging their heads in shame. And lastly, hiring Chucker, er I mean Checa! Theyre obviously using him for his sponsorship money. They dont give a shit about him or his results - how could they? He's been around long enough for people to realise he's ordinary. They want his money and they want it for their bike. Theyre turning into the new evil empire alongside Honda.
Where ever Bayliss goes, I hope he kicks their ass next year.
Rant over.

as was mentioned earlier bayliss had the new parts from the test. the big difference was the revised forks tested after PI.
troy was fast the moment they arrived in valencia, right from first free practice he was in the top 5, ducati have the proverbial egg on face syndrome after that. how ANYONE could replace a proven winner with someone like checa is totally beyond me.
if the rumours are correct and troy gets the ride everyone now thinks he's gonna get, in sito pons camel honda team to replace biaggi who's off to replace the hapless barros at HRC, i for one think he's not just gonna kick ass, he's gonna be taking names as well.
go troy, love your work.
