then factor in the shorter wheelbase , rake, trail etc...
and u can go fark yaself!!

take it easy mate, i was ribbing you to begin with :?

id love to have EFI, tho i recon my bike is a little smoother than the 954, and the shorter wheelbase, rake & trail also slightly turn me off it, but thats just me. they are very different bikes and i commute every day and got turned off twitchy uncomfy bikes after my old gixxer750 :x i cant really speak for the 929 but i know plenty about its younger brother

as for power  ... honda claimed the 929 made more power but every dyno graph ive seen from magazine review comparing the bikes when they were new would show otherwise  definately made more below 4k but a lot less above

sorry mate, i guess smart-arsedness doesnt come across in text...
the "go fark yaself" was a jokey comeback...if i was serious i woulda insulted ya mum or ur sexuality :P

yea yea u like the 9r..i like the 929....thats why we arent the same person...

and like i'd be able to tell the difference anyways. 200hp, 150hp, 130hp..... its all shitloads more than i've ever known  i'm not even sure i know how to ride anymore, theres nearly as much dust on the 7 now as there is on the naro  the throttle is on the left yeah? :P :P
me thinks his dyno sheet was reading power at the engine not the wheel  but hey lots of dynos are different

i think its about time you got a real bike dale

a 954 that costs the same as a 9R is definately a bargain... mirandas was a lot cheaper, but hey thats the way it should be when buying at auction, you take some pretty big chances that way

like i said, some dynos tend to be a little optimistic to make people feel good about their bikes.... whatever, its just a honda :P

and define a 'real' bike.... what, a tourer like yours? :P :P :P

nar, i'm happy enuff with my 7, IF i was to change bikes, it would be to something completely different this time, this will be my last inline 4 sportsbike for sure. i tossed around the idea of getting a big twin for a little while when i was doing a lot of 2up work around town, but now i pretty much dont ride at all. kinda thinking about doing a motard now, that way i'll be able to have a bit of fun without really risking my licence and i'll be able to go back to beginnings again and do some dirt squirting.

but i dunno... i've been thinking like this for months now without being close to a decision so maybe i'll just let the 7 gather some more dust for a while

the dyno graphs on this site are pretty accurate for stock, slipon & full system power levels for just about every bike on the market:
