Where to buy a good used washing machine?

Sussed out some places nearby but all new and all $650 + and apart from not really having the readies i'm also not ral keen on replacing someone elses 10yr old + washing machine with something brand new.
A good mate will bail you out of jail, a true mate will be sitting in the cell next to you saying "Damn, we fucked up!!!"

So what is a Wash-ing-Mah-chine anyhoo? Is it somehow related to the chik who picks up your dirty clothes from the bedroom floor and replaces them with shiny new clean ones? Mis-sus I think they call it...... :roll:

Simpson Delta is a good secondhand machine. Made in one guise or another for ages, plenty of parts available, cheap and easy to keep operational, and not much goes wrong.

Yup Felix got it in one. Only thing to watch for with Simpson washers is that the gearboxes leak oil- if you find oil under a Simpson you know what is wrong with it. :)
