NEW RECRUIT

Postby Team Ninja » Sun Jul 09, 2006 7:27 pm

I have just bought a new 2006 ZX12R and would like some advice on how to crank it up, or some tips on what to look out for.

I have a very limited knowledge of Ninjas given that my last three bikes have been Suzuki GSXR1000s.

I has a massive stack and thought htta I would go for something a little more tame :-) I can't help myself......... I'm a speed-a-holic!!!!

I took the big unit for a good break in session this weekend with over 500 kms in two days up the old road etc... They were relatively easy ks given that it was the first 500 on the clock, but I am already in love.

Looking forward to your responses.

Kind regards.........Team Ninja

Howdy Ninj,

Mate a belated welcome to the kawasaki and ZX12R fold.

Mate you will have to get that bad boy up the old road next sunday for our meet up at the PITS for a detailed inspection.

Sound good - I plan to be up the Old Road anyway. What time?

Where is it... .Road Warriors???

I am also keen to get involved in some rides. There has not been anything posted for a few weeks on this site. Do you know of any decent rides happening next weekend?

Thanx..........Kurt

It went well thanks mate :-)

My shoulder help up. I went up to Maitland after a long ride/round trip through the Hawksbury and then back down via the Old Road today.

I love the bike. I can't wait until I can crank it once it is run in.

I have only done just over 500ks but it is a great bike.

It's heaps harder to get to turn in through the tight twisites than the Gixxer, but I will get used to it.

How did you travel with Lozza yesterday??

PS - Thanks for steering me on to this site.

Enjoy...........Kurt
