My forks are bent! :( Anyone had their forks straightened?

That was also very literally the first run I had on the ER after doing said work - it felt weird! Guess I got used to the sagginess. If it helps, I couldn't keep up with him when we switched bikes either...CB was very smooth, but didn't seem to have the same top end...but we're not talking much difference here.

Anyhow, good result on the straightening...not worried they might be flawed though?

Damn I was after more of a bite than that! :D Not worried about flaws at all- 0.6mm runout is fine in my book, and it took 3 tonnes of force to straighten them- I can't imagine the CB forks experiencing that kinda force on the road with me on it, although I should be off to Jenny Craig! :)

I'm just a bit tired...should go to bed...

Rode to work and back up to t'ba on the ER today...it really is a great little bike...and it still wastes all the cars at the lights :)

Eeek....wasnt ole matey who was looking at it before who bought new was it? i would love to bid on this http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... %3AIT&rd=1

but no dollars to fund it....not usually my style of bike but I think its beautiful. I am keen to do a ride sometime...after I pay for my flashing light and siren ticket and buy a new rear tyre...and move house...should be good...bargin on the forks getting straightened!!! Perhaps I should go to the wreckers more often....even though I dont particularly like it there....so dark and dingy....

Uhm yep Wazza got it in one.... :D
Old Honda, heh? Looks good. A Zephyr would be a similar price though- I'd rather the Kwaka tho. :P
A little birdy told me they might be cleaning up the wreckers somewhat soon. You ought to try some of the wreckers elsewhere- they make Tmba look like a hospital.....
