I suspect Hoffman will fall off the pace when things get serious, but I see Nakano with a 7th place final qualifier and 8th in the race.

The results are a bit "skewed" as the track was wet in parts for most of the session and some riders were not able to get the qual. tyres on in time.
However, let's not forget that Nakano qualified 5th last time and that Bridgestone seem to own this track with Tamada on pole and Hopkins in fourth followed by the green boys. And Kawasaki has done a lot of testing here in winter so they should have a decent set up to start with.
If Nakkas (or Hoffman even) gets a good start and a little luck I think we can be looking at another podium

Holy Snapping dog biscuits, Have to Do the Big "visor Tap" the Green Team may be a serious threat next year if we can carry this form over the off season. Bridgies have made a big difference but the Kwika' genuinely has Pace in a straight line and isnt jacked up in the ar$e as much as it was, so keep the Faith.......
GO Nakkers ...
Cheers Brett

I heard them say that Eckl has told him to step up the pace.. and well he he didn't finish.. So I'd say he 90% certain to be out of Team Heckle in 2005... Just hope they keep nakano, and get someone better than him.
He's got potential, but he can't be expected to develop the bike for Hoffman to go faster, and try to go faster himself... They need someone with lots more Moto GP experience to influence the development, and ride the socks of the ol' girl at the same time.. And I'm sure Nakano will do even better as a result.
