Sounds like a Superbike alright Strika!
Not that I can ride like that. With me it goes more like; click 4th, starts to wheelspin, shut the thing off and on again as quickly as possible so it just does a 'mini' highside type thing and try to keep it on track as the wobbles and headshake sort themselves out......
I really must learn to start sliding more and stop chickening out of wheelspin lol. Once it is half way stood up I can ride it out, but man it is scary when you are fairly cranked over and it just starts walking out sideways.......

Whats that thing of yours putting out Hemi????? A tuned R1 must be up around those numbers wouldn't it???

You must be fairly well filling the leathers a few times each lap!!!!

I still shit myself on my old 11 year old 600. And it would be lucky to put 100 to the ground!!!

id say the bike is making about the right peak power.. but that dip in the midrange would be pissing me right off
most midrange problems are a bit of a rich spot, id try lowering the needles a clip and see if it feels any better... assuming the needles are adjustable! did the guys dyno'ing it suggest this? they should have

Yeah it is a rich spot and the needles do need to be played with. The factory pro kit comes with emulsion tubes instead of needles which Steve thinks is a better deal in the long run, but needs needles to go the next step. I elected to give it a try and then we'll give it another run and play with some needles. The ignition advancer is set at + 2 degrees to be safe which we might play some more with as well. I'm not on any power mission but just want to optimise what I have. I actually had only riden the bike for approx 40 kms (like a nanna I might add) prior to being dyno'd. Now I'll give it a hard time and see how it goes before we have another play.
Thanks for the interest and info guy's - much appreciated.
Paul.
