Ok... Well here is the run down on the current range...

(your current bike should be the same as the first one)

Height (inches) / Bike year/Model

29.3 2001 GPX 250
30.9 2006 ER6N
30.9 2006 ER6F
31.5 2006 Kawasaki ZX-14
32.1 2006 Kawasaki Z750S
32.3 2006 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R
32.3 2006 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6RR
32.3 2006 Kawasaki Z1000
32.3 2006 Kawasaki ZZR600
34.8 2006 Kawasaki KLX250S
35.0 2006 Kawasaki KLR650

The best bike for you seems to be an ER6-F or ER6-N.... of which the ride height is the closest to your current bike.

There are some things that can help those of us who are a tad more compact than the rest....

1. Extra soles on your bike boots (sounds silly, but an extra layer of sole can be added and this will increase your standing height).

2. You can soften the springs to lower the bike somewhat. This unfortunately leads to poorer handling, so you cant go too far.

3. You can "shave" the seat... Because the ER6F/N only have a small amount of padding this wont rescue many inches.

Also, i called Race Replica Kawasaki to see if there were any adjustments that could be made. Unfortunately there are no standard things that can be done, because the bike does not have linkages they cannot be exchanged to lower the height. (note the unusual suspension on the side of the bike, looks great, but in this particular case its a bit of pain).

HOWEVER, we discussed the option of replacing the standard shock with a shorter after market one. This is very possible and it is something that people like Krooz Tune can do for you. They MAY be able to adjust the current one to have a shorter spring, or they would have to produce a unit for you which would be a little shorter....

You need to consult with someone like RR and Krooz and ensure that they can lower the bike to the required height BEFORE investing any money.

Personally I would start with Krooz, call them and see if they have done this type of modification before, and check out how comfortable they would be doing this. From there you should be able to guage how possible it is...

Unfortunately sometimes there are no definite answers.... But there are only a few things that can actually go wrong.... and there is nothing that cash cant fix...

Dyslexia is a specific learning disability that is neurological in origin. It is characterized by difficulties with accurate and / or fluent word recognition and by poor spelling and decoding abilities. These difficulties typically result from a deficit in the phonological component of language that is often unexpected in relation to other cognitive abilities and the provision of effective classroom instruction. Secondary consequences may include problems in reading comprehension and reduced reading experience that can impede growth of vocabulary and background knowledge.

# Studies show that individuals with dyslexia process information in a different area of the brain than do non-dyslexics.
# Many people who are dyslexic are of average to above average intelligence.

Is there a cure for dyslexia?

* No, dyslexia is not a disease. There is no cure.
* With proper diagnosis, appropriate instruction, hard work and support from family, teachers, friends, and others, individuals who are dyslexic can succeed in school and later as working adults.

Can you be successfull dispite having dyslexia?

Sure you can, it will make things harder but with a bit of hard work dyslexics can succeed.

Examples..

# Ann Bancroft - First woman in history to cross the ice to both the North and South Poles.
Web site: http://www.yourexpedition.com
# David Boies - Trial lawyer whose high-profile clients have included former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, Jr., Napster, and the U.S. Justice Dept. in its antitrust suit against Microsoft.
# Erin Brokovich - Real-life heroine who exposed a cover-up by a major California utility that was contaminating the local water supply. Their actions had severe, even deadly consequences to the members of the community. With her help, the townspeople were awarded a $333 million settlement, the largest ever in a U.S. direct-action lawsuit. (Julia Roberts played her in the movie with the same name.)
# Stephen J. Cannell - Author and Emmy Award-winning TV producer and writer, who has created or co-created more than 38 shows, of which he has scripted more than 350 episodes and produced or executive produced more than 1,500 episodes. His hits include "The Rockford Files," "A-Team," "21 Jump Street," "Wiseguy," "Renegade" and "Silk Stalkings."
Web site: http://www.cannell.com
# Whoopi Goldberg - Actor and comedian, winner of an Academy Award for her supporting role in "Ghost," also an Academy Award nomination for her role in "The Color Purple."

Another couple to add to the list

Richard Brandson - of the Virgin Empire
And Me - Ok I know I'm not famous, but I am mildly dyslexic and I have a degree in Journalism

07 ZX10R since new, tracky TBA, KX450F, 87 CR250 restoration, GT MTB - I've got serious thrill issues, dude
