i actually found his gloves to be pretty good!

i got my suit (same as yours but red) for $500 cash, and he was a little drunk after watching a kostya tzu fight on a sunday arvo and was pretty keen to sell me a set of matching gloves, i had just bought an old gixxer and was pretty scrapped for cash.... first he goes "$40 the gloves are yours" ... sorry mate dont have it! ... "fine, $25!" shit! sorry mate alls i got is uhmmm $8.50  "...dont ever say i dont do anything for ya!" so not bad, a suit and gloves for $508.50

i actually think the gloves are pretty good, again they are a little more power rangersy than most would like but they are fairly solid, and have to be the most comfy gloves ive ever had... tho the carbon knuckles dont quite line up with my own as well as my old alpine stars gloves do... and having 3 bits of velco to do up certainly makes sure they aint gonna come off... i had some stitching slightly come apart (thats one spot where the suit and the gloves slightly lack in quality, had a few stitches frey on the suit but waved a flame over them and they subsided) but was easily fixed ... i have hit the deck with mine and they held up so i recon they are ok

this is my jacket after a stack at PI ... i put some black ink on some of the white parts as it was just too power rangersy for me

Bastard!

Mine are fucked bro, but I'm keeping em till I get new leathers, then I'll get a set of matching gloves

Fuck man, U need to use more ink there bro

What speed U reckon U came off at? I'm pretty luck in terms of damage done because each time I've
come off (60-80km/h) I was only sliding on my elbows, so scuff marks are pretty much confined to
forearm/elbow region only

i ran outta ink but trust me there was heaps more white on the jacket before hand

i was probably going about 70kph when i ran wide at turn 2 at PI, went for a cartwheel through the kitty litter (as in big pebbles)

had another stack since then, simliar speed thru similar material... scuffed the right hand shoulder down to bare leather but still fine 8)

Get yourself a good Jacket and get a set of custom zip in pants to go with.

If there is a custom leather guy that the local racers use, see him!

I purchased a 2pc set from a stealership thinking that they would be sufficient, the jacket has been good, nice and thick with excellent armour (shit knock off YKK zips but).

But the pants that cost me $340 soon needed improved knee and shin armour cos the inadequate armour worked its way to the inside of my knees doing sweet F A, I had to get knee slider pads added AND to meet racing (one day) guidelines hip armour and that extra layer of leather in the seat had to be added.

One slide down the tarmac quickly made the pants short commings apparent.

If i knew then what i know now i would have gone custom leathers.

yes with the whole ebay and local/overseas internet transactions happening more securley these day u can pick urself up a decent pair of leathers for around the $400-$500 mark. With knee sliders.

one thing i recommend try to get something that can be tried on in a shop. That way u know it fits and u like it 100%.
