This is the first chance I've had to get on the forum since yesterday..!
Good to see you're alright, mate... things were kinda quiet on the front and I didn't know what to think.
At least you're alright and the injuries aren't severe - I've got off very luckily twice in the last few days as well, so I'm happy to be here telling you that I'm happy to also have you here with us
I hate taxi drivers.... always give them a wide berth on the road. I've almost been wiped out a few too many times by our little multi-cultural friends in the taxis who have no idea how to drive. You would think that all the driving they do would make them MORE experienced, not less.. wouldn't you?
Anyway, good to see you're still here
At least we'll look good in our KSRC T-shirts, even if the bikes are shagged

G'day Shaman, When I read you had a down as well I shit myself, no access to a computer and I didn't know how to contact anyone to tell them how I was or find out about you. Mate we're alive and talking and that's what counts, how is everyone else ??, mate how's your ride, mines come out only needing glueing back together and straightening a couple of brackets, thats the initial verdict, a couple of hundred bucks worth.
Gotta luv taxi drivers, " Hullo my name is Muhammad Achmed
Ptooweee, You wanna go to yoo home, ok, on da way we kill a bike rider, Thankyou come again"

When I was commuting to Alfred hospital via taxi after my off last year I must admit to being rather surprised when I had an Aussie taxi driver, that was only the once though out of probably 12 taxi trips or so.

I'm sure that Taxi Driver Muhammad Achmed Ptooweee was here in Brisbane yesterday, he almost took out a guy on a Gixxer on Wickham St in the Valley by deciding he wanted the lane beside him and not bothering to do a shoulder check. Luckily the Gixxer was on the ball and managed to haul his bike up short and dodge around him....then the boot came out into the door of the taxi

Those nice, tough toe-scrapers come in handy, hey
Personally, I would have removed his wing-mirror. Or his eyes.
In the words of Fred Gassit:
'Not using it? Won't be needin' it!'

I think i'm about to mount a similar campaign for indicators, wtf do cars have indicators if noone uses them anyways?
