pretty much mate

unless you wanna sell your bike in original condition, I'd recommend just whacking the baffle out of it by taking it off and using bruteforce on the baffle with a chisol and hammer

hehe

does it just unbolt at the exhaust pipe end? then cause that end has a bigger opening just attacking it??
do the baffles in the muffler look the same as the meshy stuff in a catalytic convertor in a car ?

yep mate,

should just unbolt

what i had to do to my 250 - was cut the ends off of the can, remove the insides, and weld it back together.

however the zx2 will be easier than that.

then if you bin your bike - claim a can off insurance :P

the BT45s don't come in an 18inch for the rear wheel.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

I did the can mod yesterday and it sounds awesome, cost me $0.00 and it sounds very good I must say. Not rattly like CBR250's wth exhausts. Still maintains a nice and deepish tone.

Yeah btw, don't be scared to wack that baffle HARD lol shove the rod/bar through the tip end of muffler (outlet) when it hits something hard (about 3/4 way down) then BANG away with that hammer!

The meshy stuff is just a resonating wall (to help 'sound proof' you could say)

The baffle actually runs in the opposite flow of gas

from memory

your can should force the exhuast fumes, up one end of the can, back to the other, then back upto the end and out the can.

Remove all that shit, problem fixed

This guy's got the idea :D

is the baffle in the muffler liek the meshy stuff in a cat convertor

No, a baffle is a plate inside a muffler that separates the muffler into seperate chambers. ZX2R mufflers have 2 baffles, meaning 3 seperate chambers. See my shitty MSpaint pic on page 2
